Monsoon Session: MLAs urged to get their Covid-19 tests done 72 hours before start of proceedings, people's gallery to remain closed

Ranchi, Sep 8 (UNI) The Monsoon Session of the Jharkhand Assembly is all set to commence from September 18; however, prior to that the Vidhan Sabha secretariat has urged the MLAs to get their Coronavirus tests 72 hours before the proceedings commence for the inaugural day.
A meeting was today chaired by Vidhan Sabha Secretary Mahendra Prasad with the senior officials during which the steps to be taken in wake of Corona pandemic was discussed.
It was decided that at the entry gate sanitizers would be kept while the MLAs would be provided with face cover, masks, face shield and hands gloves which needed to be worn while entering in the assembly.
