Covid-19 threat in Bihar is bigger, CM suggests for all party committee

Patna, Aug 3 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said that COVID-19 poses a far bigger threat in Bihar due to its high population density which is three times the national average and suggested to constitute an all party committee of the state assembly to fight the pandemic jointly.
Addressing the one day special monsoon session of the state assembly, after the reply of the ministers to the debate held on covid-19 pandemic and flood situation of Bihar, Mr Kumar focused on the coronavirus situation in the state and said that the high population density, Covid-19 can inflict a bigger blow on Bihar.
Mr Kumar said everyone needed to be extra cautious in the current condition.

All 15 candidates for two LS seats clear scrutiny

Itanagar, Mar 28 (UNI) Altogether, 168 nominations filed for the upcoming Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections were found to be valid after scrutiny of papers on Thursday, while the process of scrutinising nominations against Itanagar and Daporijo constituencies has been adjourned till Friday, the results of which would be out by 11 a.m., an election official said.
