Arunachal Dy CM presents Rs 993.08 Cr deficit budget for 2024-25 in Assembly

Itanagar, July 24 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in-charge of Finance Chowna Mein on Wednesday presented a Rs 993.08 crore deficit Budget for the financial year 2024-25 in the State Legislative Assembly here.
Presenting the first budget of the Pema Khandu 3.0 government, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the Budget Estimates (BE) 2024-25 has been estimated at Rs 35,840.79 crore, which is 20.85 per cent more than the BE 2023-24.
“In the Budget Estimates of 2024-25, we are in a position to project revenue receipts of Rs 31,267 crore and capital receipts of Rs 4,573 crore making total receipts of Rs 35,841 crore, which is 21% more than the total estimated receipts of Rs 29,657 crore in BE 2023-24,” Mein said in his budget speech.
