Protestors burnt effigies of Modi , Agatha in Meghalaya

Shillong, Dec 10 (UNI) Protestors burnt the effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi , Home Minister Amit Shah, Meghalaya Governor Tathagata Roy and lone National People’s Party Lok Sabha member, Agatha Sangma in a protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019, across Meghalaya on Tuesday.

The Confederation of Meghalaya Social Organisation burnt the effigies after the 11-hour called by the North Eastern Student’s Organisation (NESO) bandh ended at 4 p.m.
