Congress stages dharna before Raj Bhawan demanding cancellation of JEE and NEET exams

Ranchi, Aug 28 (UNI) The Congress party on Friday staged demonstrations across the state headquarters demanding that the proposed JEE and NEET examination be cancelled.
In the state capital, the party leaders staged a dharna before the Raj Bhawan during which JPCC chief and finance minister Rameshwar Oraon was also present. The party leaders also held placards demanding that exams should not be held amid Coronavirus.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Oraon said these exams should not be held amid Corona crisis. He said, on a daily basis thousands of cases are being detected therefore under such circumstances the exams should not be held. He said, on the directions of AICC the agitation was being held.
