Tripura steps up security to foil intrusion bids and abrupt reactions on Bangladesh incidents

Agartala, Oct 17 (UNI) Tripura government has stepped up security in the habitations along Indo-Bangladesh border and all the Superintendent of Police have been asked to be extra vigilant against possibility of communal tensions following the recent incidents of alleged attack on minority Hindus and temples in Bangladesh.
According to report, BSF has been put on high alert to foil intrusion bids from across the country or any communal instigation in the villages in the Indian side.
The administration has issued an order to complete immersion of the idols of Goddess Durga by Sunday and made extra arrangements of security for peacefully holding the procession.
