Kendrapara administration distributed land to 247 families affected by sea erosion

Kendrapara, August 4 (UNI) Acting on the direction of Orissa High court the Kendrapara district administration has distributed 10 decimal plots each to 247 families, Charigharia,Satabhaya and Kanpur villages at Bagapatia Rehabilitation colony for their settlement.
These families were earlier deprived of land at the Bagapatia-Resettlement colony and had moved the High court, after failing to get justice from district administration and state government .
The division bench of Odisha High Court comprising Justice Biswajit Mohanty and Justice BP Satapathy had on May 20, 2022 directed the district administration to rehabilitate 247 families
