Odisha imposes night curfew, weekend shutdown, enhances fine on violation of Masks, Social distancing

Bhubaneswar, Jul 31 (UNI) Night curfew from 9 pm to 5 am will continue in Odisha till August 31 while weekend shutdown will be enforced in four hot spot districts and Rourkela city in August to combat the Covid 19.
Briefing newsmen, State Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy said the government also decided to enhance the fine amount for not using masks and maintaining social distancing.
He said the government was forced to impose some restrictions during unlock III to check the congregation in public places and take a tough stand in a bid to open the economy.
