Amid battle against Coronavirus, state government allows buses to operate from Sep 1

Ranchi, Aug 29 (UNI) Even as Coronavirus cases continue to be reported in Jharkhand, the state government has allowed inter-state bus movement from September 1.
As per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) announced by the state transport department on Saturday, the bus operators would have to sanitise their buses first while the staff should be equipped with masks and hand gloves and stoppages at regular intervals would also have to be followed.
Further, buses with capacity of 30 passengers have been allowed to accommodate only 20 while those having 50 seats will be seating only 25 passengers.
