Nitish directs officials to keep watch on Omicron

Taking serious cognizance of the first case of Omicron being reported in Patna, the state capital of Bihar, along with the rapid rise in the graph of coronavirus infection, the Chief Minister held a high-level emergent meeting late Friday evening in the state headquarters to review the situation and preparedness of the health department for handling the cases along with Omicron if there was any spurt in the infection rate.
During the meeting, Kumar instructed the officials to keep the technicians and entire medical team on alert and ensure the availability of oxygen and medicines in adequate quantity in the hospitals.
