Bihar CM announces to review Prohibition Law to make it more effective

Patna, Nov 7 (UNI) Reiterating to take stern action against those violating the Prohibition law, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today announced to minutely review its each and every aspect for its effectiveness.
Exasperated with the rising death toll in the recent hooch tragedy, Mr Kumar told newspersons in the Janta Darbar that he would review the district wise situation on November 16 after the Chhath festival was over.
Without taking the name of BJP, his major alliance partner in the government and any other political party, Mr Kumar lamented at the statements being made in the context of the hooch tragedy saying that all political parties weather in government on opposition had unanimously taken the pledge in favour of the liquor ban and had passed it unanimously from the legislature.
