Amrit Pratyay to handle COVID-19 situation in Bihar as new Principal Health Secretary

Patna, Jul 27 (UNI) Amid surging cases of coronavirus infection, Bihar government replaced principal health secretary Uday Singh Kumawat with Amrit pratyay entrusting him the responsibility of handling Covid-19 in Bihar.
This is for the second time in the past two months, that the government changed the principal health secretary. On May 20, the government had removed the then principal health Secretary Sanjay Kumar an IAS officer of 1990 batch and had made Uday Singh Kumawat of 1993 batch the principal health secretary.
Now Pratyay Amrit 1991 batch IAS officer, who had been conferred upon with the best IAS officer award, has been given the responsibility of the principal health secretary.
