Guidelines for coronavirus to be strictly followed at every booth: EC

Bhagalpur, Sep 15 (UNI) The election commission team visiting Bihar to review the poll preparedness for assembly elections today said that the guidelines of the government in view of COVID-19 pandemic would be strictly followed at every polling booth in the state.
Deputy Election Commissioner Sudeep Jain and Chandrabhushan while reviewing the scenario with the district magistrates and police superintendent of 12 districts of Munger, Bhagalpur and Purnia division today said that all basic facilities should be made available to the electorate on the polling booth during the election. They also directed the authorities to make special arrangements for old age persons and differently-abled people.
The team also asked to make separate arrangements for entrance and exit at the polling booths where the number of voters was more and suggested to include the names of migrant labourers in the voters' list.
