Itanagar, Oct 30 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) BD Mishra has extended his warm greetings to people of the state on the eve of National Unity Day, which commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
In his message to the people, the Governor said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as ‘Iron Man of India’, was the stalwart who unified India.
He was a brilliant administrator and a leader of the masses, who never compromised when it came to safeguarding rights of the poor and downtrodden. The posterity of India will always remember Sardar Patel’s unparalleled contribution, he held, he said.
