One Child dead, another seriously injured after getting inside machine of water filter plant

Ranchi, Jul 25 (UNI) A five year old child lost his life while another one sustained serious injuries after they got inside a machine inside a water filtering plant located under Angada Police Station area of this district.

Police said that the deceased has been identified as Kunal Mahto while another five and a half year old child Adarsh Raj has sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to RIMS.

Shillong, Sep 18 (UNI) The death toll from COVID-19 rose to 34 with two women, aged 44 and 60, succumbed to the infection on Friday in Meghalaya, while 89 new cases were detected, taking the total number of active positive cases to 1,976.
