Seven girls die while performing immersion of Karam tree in Latehar, CM expresses grief

Latehar/Ranchi, Sep 18 (UNI) Seven girls lost their lives on Saturday as they were drowned in water body in Manandih Tola of Seregada village located under Balumath Police Station area of this district.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren has expressed his grief over the incident. He has prayed to the almighty to rest their souls in peace and give strength to the family members to overcome the burden of loss
Police quoting locals said that a group of girls had gone to perform the immersion of the branches of Karam tree after celebrating the function of Karma at water body located near the village.
