37,323 candidates  appear in Manipur HSLC examination

Imphal, Feb 20 (UNI ) Prohibitory orders restricting assembly of people around the 139 examination centres, where HSLC exams are being held, were promulgated by the District Magistrates of Manipur.
High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC), 20019 began here today and it will decide the fate of 37,323 students. The candidates included 18871 female candidates and to ensure smooth conduct of examinations control rooms were opened and three mobile numbers-- 9612021357, 7085351439 and 7005786142 issued to give any information.
The examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) will end on March 15.
Chairman, Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) Th. Kirankumar Singh said there is no private examination centre from this year. CCTV cameras were installed at every evaluation centres.
Supervising Officers, Officers in Charge of Centres, Assistant OCs, Supervising Investigators, invigilators and Flying Squads were formed to tour the examination centres.
