Jabalpur, MP, Apr 26 (UNI) Keeping in perspective demonetisation and similar tough decisions taken during his premiership, Mr Narendra Modi claimed on Friday that the middle class is in favour of these measures, which however proved “rather problematic” for some persons who are now working against him.
“Mine is an honest struggle therefore I have presented myself before genuine people; now the decision is up to you,” the Prime Minister averred while addressing an election rally here in favour of the saffron camp’s Jabalpur parliamentary constituency candidate and the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Madhya Pradesh President Rakesh Singh.
Underlining that demonetisation translated into economical abodes for the common man, the visiting politician added that the move vexed those whose black money was invested in schemes and resulted in closure of three lakh bogus companies.
