Manchester, Jul 24 (UNI) England were 66/2 after 27 overs at Lunch on day one of the final and decider Test against West Indies at Old Trafford on Friday.
Rory Burns 33 off 76 with 2 fours and Ben stokes 7 off 22 with 1 fours were at the crease when lunch was declared.
England received early blow in the very first over of the last ball when opener Dom Sibley was lbw in Roach's spell.
Sibley went to the pavillion without scoring any runs after facing 5 balls. England's first wicket fell at score of 1.
After exit of Sibley skipper Joe Root came in and along with Burns chipped in 46 runs for second wicket partnership, but then Root was unfortunately run out by Chase in 21.3 overs. England's second wicket fell at 47.
Root scored 17 off 59.
Earlier West Indies won the toss and opted to bowl.
