Melbourne, Dec 27 (UNI) England bowled out hosts Australia for 267 on the second day of the third Ashes Test here at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Monday. In reply, England were 31 for the loss of 4 wickets at stumps with Joe Root (12) and Ben stokes (2) at the crease.
The second day's play was delayed by half hour due to a Covid scare in the England’s camp, with two support staff members and two of their family members tested positive for Covid-19.
The visitors started strong in the opening session as they got the three big wickets in the form of Nathan Lyon, Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith.
