States » East » CAEPosted at: Nov 10 2020 9:09AM Counting of votes of 2 Assembly seats begins in NagalandKohima, Nov 10 (UNI) The counting of votes for the by-elections of two seats of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Southern Angami -I (ST) and Pungro-Kiphire (ST) Assembly Constituency began at 08.00 AM this morning amid tight security in the office of the respective Deputy Commissioners of Kohima and Kiphire. Nagaland Chief Electoral Officer Abhijit Sinha yesterday informed that the counting of votes for Southern Angami I Assembly Constituency to be done by the SDO (C) Jakhama & Returning Officer in Kohima, while the ADC Kiphire & Returning Officer will do the same for Pungro-Kiphire Assembly Constituency in Kiphire.
