Fabience to set up world-class modular furniture plant in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, July 20 (UNI) Fabience, a state-of-the-art modular furniture solutions company that provides high-end kitchens and wardrobes, in RTA (ready to assemble) format, on Wednesday announced to set up a world-class modular furniture new manufacturing plant in 4-acre area at Medical Devices Park located at Sultanpur, outskirts of Hyderabad.
We have already invested Rs 40 crore for the new facility and another Rs 40 crore will be invested in the next financial year, said T.R. Venugopal, Managing Director, Fabience, in a press conference here.
Equipped with Italian and German machinery, the new facility which will generate employment to 300 people, will be operational by next financial year, he said that the existing manufacturing unit at Gandi Maisamma in Hyderabad, will merge with the new facility once the new facility is commenced.
The company’s turnover in the last financial year was Rs 18 crores and expected to touch Rs 30 crore by this fiscal, he informed.
To meet the increasing demand for their products, Fabience will be expanding its capacity by setting up a new manufacturing unit in the medical devices park, Hyderabad; he said the new facility capacity is 500 plywood sheets per shift against 60 sheets per shift capacity of existing unit and we will also export mainly to the US market.
Fabience plans to expand the product range and foray into the B2B segment to service the growing requirement for custom modular kitchens and wardrobes in India, said.
The factory production line is automated with computerized systems working end-to-end right from design concept to final production to cater to the various aesthetic needs of clients, he added.
