HYSEA to hold second edition of Infrastructure Summit 2021 on Oct 22

Hyderabad, Oct 12 (UNI) HYSEA ((Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) on Tuesday announced that the second edition of its prestigious Infrastructure Summit 2021 will be held at HICC here on October 22.
This year the theme of the event will be ‘A QUEST FOR LEGACY: THE NEXTGEN INFRA’ with focus on Smart Mobility, Energy and Workplace.
More than 300+ leaders from IT/ITES Industry, IT Infra Providers, Consultants, Government and R&D institutions are expected to participate in person in the event this year, HYSEA said in a release here.
Special Chief Secretary ( MA and UD) Arvind Kumar, will be the Chief Guest at the summit.
The summit will feature 20+ Speakers, 3 panels and 5 Keynote addresses and will deliberate on the key topics including future of Smart Transportation ; Government Vision to make TS future ready ; WorkPlace Transformation Post Pandemic - Opportunities and Challenges; Humanising Workspace - Handling the challenges of Post-Covid Work Spaces and Environment and Sustainability Challenges ahead.
Addressing the media at the curtain raiser event here, Principal Secretary (ITE&C) Jayesh Ranjan said, “Telangana state has been successful in enabling cost effective IT Infra and the Infrastructure in the state is continuously evolving.
State government has not stopped with the ORR, several new initiatives are in the offing, including Regional Ring Road, Metro Phase 2, the GRID policy and many more, he said.
Mr Ranjan also mentioned that the Government is keen to promote development of social infrastructure in the East, South and North of the city in PPE format, which in turn will promote development of other physical infrastructure in the city.
Mr Arindam Banerrji, EVP and Managing Director, Wells Fargo, India and Philippines, who also addressed the media, said, “The challenge ahead of us today is to get employees back to work in a safe manner and create a highly engaged workforce which will in turn spawn innovation.
Infrastructure will play a critical role not only in our growth, but in retaining our talent base and creating a sustainable world, he added.
Earlier, addressing the media, Mr. Bharani Aroll, President, HYSEA and CEO, Infopeers, said that HYSEA will potentially be entering into a MOU on Green Power with the Department of Energy, at the Infra Summit.
HYSEA Infra Forum Leader and Head of Strategy and Transformation - International CIO and Country Head, State Street, Mr. Ramesh Kaza in a message on the occasion said, “The IT/ITeS industry in Hyderabad economically supports around 30 per cent of the population.
HYSEA’s INFRA Forum thrives to bring awareness on sustenance topics like SMART transportation, rain water harvesting, reduction of single use plastic, and works in a committed manner in the development of the city, to make the city eco-friendly so as to preserve and leave the legacy for the future generation, he added.
