Granules Q1F26 consolidated net down 16 pc to Rs 1,126 mn

Hyderabad, Aug 12 (UNI) Granules India Ltd, a vertically integrated pharmaceutical company, today reported a 16 percent drop in its consolidated net profit to Rs 1,126 million for the first quarter ended June 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 1,520 crore during the same period last year.
Revenue from operations during the quarter stood at Rs 12,101 Mn, a growth of 3 percent Year-on-Year, sales growth was largely driven by North America , the Hyderabad based pharmaceutical company said in a release here.
In Q1FY25, revenue from operations was Rs 11,974 Mn.

Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients (API), Pharmaceutical Formulation Intermediates (PFI), Finished dosages (FD) and Peptides/ CDMO contribute 14 percent, 10 percent, 74 percent and 2 percent of revenue from operations respectively for Q1FY26.
Commenting on the results, Dr. Krishna Prasad Chigurupati, Chairman & Managing Director of Granules India Limited, said, “We delivered healthy cash flow from operations of Rs 2,806 million this quarter and made good progress on the Gagillapur remediation programme.
USFDA audits at our Bonthapally API facility, GPI in Virginia, and Granules Life Sciences at Genome Valley were successfully completed with one minor observation each.
The Danish Medicines Agency also concluded its EU GMP inspection of Gagillapur with granting of certification.
With our near-term formulations growth trajectory set to resume, and the integration of Senn Chemicals through the Ascelis platform in the fast-growing CDMO sector, we are well-positioned for sustainable long-term growth, he added.
The company has 11 manufacturing facilities out of which 8 are in India, 2 in the USA and 1 in Switzerland and has regulatory approvals from US FDA, EDQM, EU GMP, COFEPRIS.
