Nemetschek Group targets 20pc of Indian AEC market in three years

Mumbai, July 10 (UNI) The Nemetschek Group, a leading global provider of software solutions for the AEC/O and media industries, today inaugurated its Mumbai office and announced that the group will capture 15 to 20 percent of the AEC market in the next three years.

The launch event, titled ‘Architecting India’s Future,’ was held at the iconic Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai, followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Nemetschek Group and JJ College of Architecture in Mumbai.

Nirmalya Chatterjee, Country VP, Nemetschek Group—Indian Subcontinent, emphasised the strategic importance of entering the Indian market at this juncture. "India's construction market is poised for exponential growth, projected to become the third largest globally by 2025.

Yves Padrines, CEO of the Nemetschek Group, highlighted the broader vision for Nemetschek in India. "With a large number of construction projects, including around 9,500 National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) projects, and a booming real estate market, India represents a significant opportunity for us.

With a focus on leveraging innovative solutions and an ethical approach to AI, the company aims to revolutionise the Indian AEC industry, said the CEO.
