BSE Equity derivatives turnover records new high of Rs 40717 cr

Mumbai, Jul 28 (UNI) BSE Equity Derivatives turnover on its Monday Expiry reached a new high of Rs 40717 crores, reflecting the acceptance of the unique concept of Monday Expiry for Weekly contracts by market participants.

BSE Derivatives segment has been witnessing consistent and progressive growth in its turnover since introduction of unique contract of Monday Expiry on S&P BSE Sensex 50 Weekly Futures & Options Contracts.

Commenting on the new record high, Chief Business Officer, BSE, Sameer Patil,said, 'We appreciate interest shown by market participants in our unique product offering of Weekly contract with Monday expiry and BSE thanks all its members and stakeholders for their continuous support and looks forward to achieving more milestones in the coming days."
