Sensex rallies 355.01 pts

Mumbai, Nov 4 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Wednesday spurted by 355.01 points and closed at 40,616.14 on brisk buying in Energy, Consumer Durable, Technology and IT stocks amid positive Asian Markets.
The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 95 points to close at 11,908.50.
The Sensex registered the days high and low at 40,693.51 and 40,076.14 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded the days high and low at 11,929.65 and 11,756.40 points respectively.
