CII-Telangana appreciates state govt’s decision to impose lockdown for 10 days

Hyderabad, May 11 (UNI) Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Telangana has appreciated the government's decision to impose state-wide lockdown for 10 days starting from May 12 as saving the lives should be the top most priority during the current Coronavirus pandemic situation.
In a release here on Tuesday, Mr Sameer Goel, Chairman, CII Telangana opined that there is a need to break the chain and minimize the transmission links to the possible extent and lockdown may help in this regard.
He said that all essential services, prioritized sectors should be allowed to function.
Indian Industry is striving to protect its employees and arranging all necessary support to strengthen the healthcare system through augmenting oxygen supplies, expanding production capacities of medicines and increasing bed capacities.
Industry is also arranging quarantine facilities for their employees and also for the community, he added.
