UST Bengaluru crosses 6000 employees, plans to double headcount in next 2 years

Bengaluru, Nov 23 (UNI) UST, a digital transformation solutions company, Tuesday announced the expansion of the workforce in its city-based center to over 6000 employees. The company has also added over 2000 employees since February 2020, the post-pandemic era.
In line with the company's accelerated growth strategy, UST Bengaluru center plans to double the number of employees to 12,000 by 2023, UST Chief Operating Officer and Country Head Alexander Varghese said.
The global technology company is planning to expand its local presence in India to attract the best talents, he said.
In the next 18-24 months, the center will hire freshers (entry-level engineering graduates) and experienced engineers for various roles focusing on products and services for healthcare, technology, logistics, semiconductors, and BFSI (Banking and Financial Services and Insurance) clients, Varghese said.
Headquartered at California in the US, and with offices across 25 countries and over 35 offices, UST is a rapidly growing company that provides cutting-edge digital transformation services, products, and platforms to Global 2000 and Fortune 500 enterprises worldwide, he added.
With a commitment to tap into India's engineering and software talent, UST has dedicated software delivery centers in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Pune, Coimbatore, Hosur, and Delhi NCR, Varghese said.
UST Hyderabad recently celebrated the joining of 1000 employees and announced its plans to double the headcount at the center to 2000 employees within the next two years, he further said.
The company also announced its plans to hire over 10,000 new employees this year across the globe, with digital proficiencies and critical skills in Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, Cloud Infrastructure, Java, and others.
