K'taka attracts Rs 10,255 Cr under FDI in 3 months: CM

Bengaluru, Oct 23 (UNI) Underlining that Karnataka continues to be a preferred destination under Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), State Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Friday said that Rs 10,255 crore FDI received during the last three months despite Covid-19 threat.
In a tweet, the Chief Minister said, the State has been attracting the highest FDI in the country during the April-June quarter of 2020. Despite the Corona epidemic, the State had received Rs 10,255 crore in these three-month.
India's first sector-specific Rs 3,540 crore Consumer Electronics & Commodities Cluster is heading to Hubli as an investment. In line with the concept of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's #AtmaNirbharBharat, the world-class facility will be available here, creating 20 thousand jobs.
Mr Yediyurappa appreciated that Karnataka's 15 innovations have won the National Innovation Award in different areas such as urban mobility, satellite technology, organic farming and augmented reality.
