PPG launches its revolutionary MoonWalk automated paint mixing system in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 15 (UNI) PPG on Friday launched its revolutionary MoonWalk automated paint mixing system in Kashmir, a first for the region.
The cutting-edge technology would be now available at Rahim Motors, one of the biggest automobile workshops in Srinagar.
Designed to streamline automotive refinishing, this cutting-edge technology automates the paint mixing process, ensuring precise colour matching while reducing waste and enhancing efficiency, the company officials said at the launch event.

The system uses a specialized device to capture a vehicle’s colour, enabling an exact match and minimizing errors in the painting process. This innovation benefits body shops of all sizes by saving time, improving accuracy, and delivering high-quality finishes for customers.
Abdul Hamid Bhat, the managing director of Rahim Motors, expressed excitement about bringing this eco-friendly technology to Kashmir.
