Canadian Wood showcases its 5 certified wood species at Index Fair Mumbai 2023

Mumbai, May 27 (UNI) The Canadian Wood, a popular trade name for Forestry Innovation Consulting India Pvt Ltd (FII India), a crown corporation of British Columbia, is showcasing its five certified wood species at three-day Index Fair organised here from Saturday.
A range of interior and outdoor furniture was on display, including bedroom furniture, living furniture, island kitchen, bar cabinet, dining area, lumber wall, solid wood door, glass door, stain walls, and louvers screen at Jio Convention Centre.
It also featured outdoor furniture collection, which includes wooden bench, pergola, and outdoor seating area, a release said here.
Speaking on the occasion, Pranesh Chhibber, Country director of Canadian Wood, said, "Through three-day index fair, FII, the crown agency of the provincial government of British Columbia, popularly known as Canadian Wood, aims to inspire and educate and target audience about the endless possibilities that Canadian Wood species offer, and provide them with a glimpse of the exceptional work curated by Indian manufacturers.”

Official sources here on Sunday said the monthly collection to be retained by the State (OGST + IGST Settlement) during September 23 stands at Rs. 1651.58 Crore against a collection of Rs. 1157.08 Crore during September 22 recording a growth of 42.74 percent.
