CNG, PNG prices hiked in Delhi, NCR

New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) The prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) were increased in New Delhi and its neighbouring cities of Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Greater Noida, among other, on Tuesday.
In a message to its customers, Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) said, ''The domestic PNG price has been increased by Rs 2.00 per Standard Cubic Meter (SCM) with effect from 13.10.21 to partially cover the hike in input gas cost. The applicable price in Gautam Budh Nagar would be Rs 34.86/SCM.''

Now, as per the company, CNG price in Delhi is Rs 49.76 per kg while PNG will be sold for Rs 35.11 per SCM.

In Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, CNG would be available at Rs 56.02 per kg while PNG would retail for Rs.34.86 per SCM. In Gurugram, the price of CNG would be Rs 58.20 per kg while that of PNG Rs 33.31 per SCM.

''The CNG price in Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand would be Rs 65.02 per Kg while in Kanpur, Fatehpur and Hamirpur it would be Rs 66.54 per Kg,'' the IGL said.

This is the second hike in a month. The rates were increased by Rs 2.28 per kg and Rs 2.10 respectively after a 62 per cent increase in natural gas prices on October 1, 2021.
