TVS signs MoU with TN govt involving Rs.1,200 cr investment in future technologies, EVs

Coimbatore, Nov 23 (UNI) Two and three wheeler makers TVS Motor Company
today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Tamil Nadu
Government for investment in Future Technologies and Electric Vehicle.
The MoU was signed in the presence of the Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and
Company Chairman Venu Srinivasan at the Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave
here.
Under the MoU, the company will invest Rs.1,200 crores in Future Technologies
and Electric Vehicles (EV) in the next four years.
The investment will be mainly for the design, development and manufacturing of
new products and capacity expansion in the EV space, a company release said.
