First 'modern retro' motorcycle TVS Ronin launched in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, July 21 (UNI) TVS Motor company, a reputed manufacturer of two-wheelers and three-wheelers globally, forayed into the premium lifestyle segment by launching Industry’s first ‘modern-retro’ motorcycle –TVS Ronin, here on Thursday.
This is the company’s second motorcycle in the premium segment and this is the first launch in South India, TVS Motor Company Business Head ( Premium) Vimal Sumbly said on the occasion.
The total market size in this segment was 1.5 lakh units per month and with this launch, the company would get better and comfortable growth in this fiscal, he said.
The new motorcycle’s versatile features, combined with a unique design and modern technology, ensures stress-free riding experiences across terrains, Sumbly claimed and said the motorcycle is also one of many first with impressive technology and convenience features like dual-channel ABS, voice assistance and enhanced connectivity.
In another first, the TVS Ronin will launch with an exclusive range of branded world-class merchandise and custom accessories, a configurator and a dedicated experience program, the Business Head said.
“The TVS Ronin will carve a new segment based on an emerging lifestyle free from stereotypes, dated codes, and legacy baggage.
The motorcycle will bring a premium lifestyle experience for our customers, offering a differentiated brand ecosystem. I am sure our customers would appreciate the distinctive riding character of this motorcycle.,” Vimal said.
The company’s market share in two-wheeler segment in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana was over 15 per cent, he said the new motorcycle will be available in six colours in three variants – TVS Ronin SS at INR 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Telangana), TVS Ronin DS at INR 1.56 lakh (ex-showroom Telangana) and the top variant TVS Ronin TD at INR 1,68,750 (ex-showroom Telangana).
The customer can book this vehicle either online or offline, he added.
Chennai-based TVS Motor has four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Hosur, Mysuru and Nalagarh in India and Karawang in Indonesia.
