Atomy India to launch oral health hygiene initiative

New Delhi, Aug 12 (UNI) On the occasion of Independence Day, Atomy India will launch an oral health hygiene initiative for the underprivileged children across cities, a statement said on Friday.
Atomy India will distribute 'oral care' kit to the underprivileged children under the initiative in 75 cities, the Indian unit of the global company said.
During the 75-day campaign, Atomy India will reach over 7,500 children with the oral hygiene initiative, the company said.
"Oral health is an important factor of overall health. Adverse oral health can have a significant impact on the whole systemic health, and quality of life. Starting oral hygiene from the early childhood can prevent oral cancers, dental caries and periodontal diseases that contribute to the major burden of oral diseases in India and economic productivity of the nation," it said.
Talking about the initiative, Abraham Lee, Managing Director of Atomy India said, “Since oral health is an integral part of the overall health of citizens, celebrating the 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' across the country, Atomy India addresses the health issues of the underprivileged children who have no access or resources to look after their oral health, and thus impacting their overall health.”
“We will grandly celebrate our 75th Independence Day. We will be free from oral microbes and cavity pain,” said Rahul Kokadwar, COO, Atomy India.
