Adani Enterprises' Q4 FY22 PAT rises 30 pc to Rs 304.32 cr

Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Billionaire Gautam Adani led Adani Enterprises on Tuesday reported a 30 per cent increase in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended March 31 at Rs 304.32 crore, mainly on the back improved performance of both developing and established businesses.
The company had reported a PAT of Rs 233.95 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Its total income for the January-March quarter stood at Rs 25141.56 crore as against Rs 13,688.95 in Q4 FY2021, registering a growth of Rs 83.66 per cent, on the back of significant increase in prices in the IRM (integrated resources management) segment, the company said in a statement issued here.
For the whole year FY2022, the company's total income increased to Rs 70,432.69 crore from Rs 40,290.93 crore in FY2021, registering a growth of 74.81 per cent. However, its PAT for the year declined to Rs 776.56 crore from Rs 922.64 crore in FY2021.
"AEL's existing businesses have strengthened their performance and we see exciting journey ahead for our new businesses like networked airport ecosystems, road and water infrastructure and green data centres. Add to this the focus on new energy businesses and digital consumer platform along with our ability to execute with will propel the shareholders value we remain confident in India's ability to become one of the fastest incubators of multi industry unicorns," Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani group said.
During the quarter, the company's airport business handled 12.4 million customers while for the whole year it handled 36.9 million customers.

In the airports business, the company achieved financial closure for the greenfield Navi Mumbai International Airport project with the SBI for entire Rs 12770 crore debt, during the quarter.
