Newly elected MLA Brahamananda Reddy takes oath

Amaravati, Oct 6 (UNI) Newly elected MLA Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy took oath on Friday in the AP Assembly Speaker’s chamber.
Assembly Speaker Kodela Shiva Prasada Rao administered oath by the MLA. Mr.Brahmananda Reddy was elected to the Assembly in the by-election from Nandyala constituency in Kurnool district.
He took oath in the name of god. Later, the Speaker gave him a bag, which contained books regarding the rules and regulations of AP Assembly. Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Bhuma Akhila Priya, Assembly In-charge Secretary Vijayaraju and Deputy Secretary Balakrishnamacharyulu were present.
Later talking to media, the MLA vowed to develop the Nandyala town as a beautiful town. Development works had already been taken up in the town. Earlier, the land was allocated for pig rears to shift their pigs to that place, he said.
He said that roads were being widened and drinking water pipelines were being laid. As many as 13,000 houses were allocated to the Nandyala constituency for the house-less poor. Mr Reddy thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for giving him ticket to contest in the by-election.
