West Indies chasing 292 were bundled out for 286 in 49 overs on Saturday.
In the last ball of the 49th over Neesham picked crucial wicket of Brathwaite who scored his century in the same over.
Brathwaite scored 101 off 82 b (9 fours 5 sixes).
With this win New Zealand are at top with 11 points from 6 matches, Australia are second, India at third after beating Afghanistan by 11 runs with 9 points from 5 matches while England have slipped to fourth from earlier third.
