New twist to releasing of Tuni accused on bail

Kakinada June 17 (UNI): Contrary to the assurances, given to fasting Kapu Nadu leader Mudragada Padmanabham, the police failed to get released the prime accused in Tuni Kapu Garjana violence of January 31 on bail.
The CID court here today rejected the bail petitions moved on behalf of the three prime accused –Vasireddi Yesudas District Kapu Sadbhavana Sangham president, Nalla Vishnu and Akula Ramakrishna Kapu reservation Porata Samiti founding leaders.
Of the total ten people applied for bail in Pithapuram additional sessions judge court, nine were granted conditional bail, while one accused was handed over to CID police custody for three days for interrogation. Under the circumstances, the calling of fast-unto death stir, being continued by Mr Mudragada for the ninth-day in Rajahmundry government hospital under police custody, might be delayed till Monday.
