New management takes over TV9: CEO Ravi Prakash removed

Hyderabad, May 10 (UNI) Alanda Media and Entertainment Pvt Limited (Alanda), which has acquired majority of the stakes (90.54 per cent) in Associated Broadcasting Pvt Limited (ABCPL), that owned TV9 on Friday evening announced the removal of Ravi Prakash from the CEO post and appointed Mahendra Mishra as the Interim CEO for TV9.

Addressing at a joint press conference here, ABCPL directors P Kaushik Ra, S Sambasiva Rao, Jagapathi Rao and Srinvas, claimed that they have taken control of TV9 Management and the shareholders in the EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting) held two-days back, have passed resolution revoking all the powers vested with Ravi Prakash, whole-time Director and CEO and MKVN Murthy, whole Time Director and CFO, with immediate effect, in view of malafide intentions and fraudulent acts.
