New jubilee bridge as an engineering marvel, resembles the world famous Sydney harbour: Gohain

Kolkata, Sep 9 (UNI) Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain today ceremoniously dedicated to the nation the new jubilee bridge that connects Bandel and Naihati junctions over Hoogly river near Garifa Railway Station in North 24 pargans district of West Bengal.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Gohain referred to the new jubilee bridge as an engineering marvel. Eastern Railways has incurred a cost of Rs 290 crores for the bridge which resembles the world famous Sydney harbour.
Praising the engineers of Indian Railways for their extra-ordinary works, the minister stated thatrailway lines are being built at various difficult terrains of J &K and North-east India.
