NET exam postponed in Assam, Meghalaya

New Delhi, Dec 14 (UNI) The Joint CSIR- UGC NET December 2019 examination will be held as per schedule on the 15th December 2019 (tomorrow) all over India except the States of Assam and Meghalaya where it will be held later, a statement said on Saturday.
According to NTA statement, candidates scheduled to appear in Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2019
Examination at the Examination Centres located in the States of “Assam” (viz. the cities of Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar, Sivasagar and Tezpur) and “Meghalaya” (viz. the city of Shillong) are informed that the exam scheduled to be held on 15 December 2019 has been postponed.
"In other States/UTs, the Examination shall be held on 15 December 2019 as per schedule intimated earlier," it was stated further.
The revised date of examination for the States of Assam and Meghalaya will be announced
soon.
