New Delhi, Mar 14 (UNI) Responding to the BJP’s charge that country’s first Prime Minister Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru had gifted UNSC seat to China at the cost of India in 1940s, the Congress on Thursday asserted that Nehru did not keep New Delhi out of United Nation Security Council (UNSC).
In a series of tweets, Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi said, “One always knew BJP is a party of supreme liars, Ravi Shankar Prasadji proved it yet again! Nehru didn't keep India out of UNSC or reject Kennedy offer, it is just rhetoric.”
In another tweet she added, “Once again the BJP Lie Factory has started the hate campaign against the First PM of Independent India, Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru Ji. The facts are:- UN was established in 1945. India wasn't independent then. Since then there has been NO change in its composition even.”
The response came after the BJP alleged that it was because of Pt Nehru Beijing is in UNSC.
“China would not be in the UNSC had your great grandfather not 'gifted' it to them at India’s cost. India is undoing all mistakes of your family. Be assured that India will win the fight against terror," the saffron party said in a tweet.
The allegation was repeated by BJP leader and Union Minister ravi Shankar Prasad in a press conference.

’’Ravi Shankar Prasad ji wants Rahul Gandhi ji to build pressure on China to designate Masood Azhar as a global terrorist in the UNSC. Don’t worry, we will do this as soon as we take charge in 2019.
Shamefully, despite laal ankh promise PM Modi did nothing on terror, JeM, Pakistan! ,'she said. Earlier on Thursday, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, responding to Rahul’s tweet, lashed out at him for taking pleasure when India's interests vis-a-vis- fight against terror have been foiled.

In a post on social media on Thursday, Mr Gandhi said, 'Weak Modi is scared of Xi. Not a word comes out of his mouth when China acts against India.
NoMo’s China Diplomacy:
