He instructed the Agriculture officials to alert and prepare strategies so that farmers would inculcate the habit of cultivating those crops, which are in demand in the market.

He asked the agriculture experts to finalise the strategy for regulated farming and make agriculture profitable for farmers.

Regulating farming will come into force commencing from this Vaankalam (monsoon) season where farmers should cultivate crops as per the government guidelines, he wanted the authorities to prepare necessary plans for each crop season as per the market demand.

Farmers to get good price for their produce, the Chief Minister also wanted the officials to prepare season-wise action plan for crop cultivation to meet market demand.
