Nearly 60,000 Syrian refugees in Türkiye return homeland after quake

Ankara, Mar 28 (UNI) Nearly 60,000 Syrian refugees have returned to their homeland after the February earthquakes devastated their homes in Türkiye, a Turkish cabinet minister said on Monday.

"Around 60,000 Syrians living in Türkiye have returned to their lands due to the loss of their homes and relatives," Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said on the borderline of the quake-hit southern province of Hatay.
