NDA vice-chairman urges Pinarayi to quit Home portfolio

Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 28 (UNI) NDA Vice-Chairman and Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar today urged Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to relinquish the portfolio of Home in the wake of deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
In a release here, the MP strongly condemned the attacks by CPI(M) activist on the BJP state office and the attempt to attack the BJP President Kummanam Rajasekharan.
Pointing out that the attack is a clear case of orchestrated violence by the CPM, he said the criminal gang was led by a CPM councilor whose image has been captured on CCTV footage.
"The lefts ideology of violent politics is doomed to fail and CM Pinarayi Vijayan is increasingly left with nothing other than intimidation and violence as a way of politics. Kerala and Malayalees deserve better than this," he added.
