Bengaluru, Nov 8 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday alleged that the ruling NDA government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi betrayed people of Andhra Pradesh and this was the reason Telugu Desam Party had come out of the NDA.
Addressing a press confeence after holding talks with former Prime Minister and JD(S) Supremo H D Devegowda at his residence here, Mr Naidu said that the NDA government did not fulfill the promises made in the agreement before division of Andhra Pradesh state and forming Telangana State.
He said that the Special Status and other facilities were denied to Andhra Pradesh which was affected economically due to bifurcation. "Hence I withdrew the support and came out of the alliance."
