NCW asks police chief to expeditiously probe Brarkha Dutt harassment case on social media

New Delhi , Feb 19 (UNI) The National Commission for Women(NCW) on Tuesday wrote to the Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik asking him to probe journalist Barkha Dutt harassment case at the earliest.
Well known voice Barkha Dutt had to face the heat in social media from some quarters over extending help to Kashmiris post Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma in her letter to the police chief informed that Ms Dutt has allegedly complained to the commission about receiving abusive messages as she offered aid to some Kashmiris who were being targeted in wake of the terrorist incident.
