Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jun 24 2016 5:34PM NCST serves notice to Odisha govt. on violation of Forest Rights ActBhubaneswar, Jun 24 (UNI) The National Commission for Scheduled Tribe (NCST) has issued a notice to Odisha Chief Secretary while taking cognisance of a petition on allegation of promoting Vana Surakhya Samities (VSS) through Ama Jungle Yojana (AJY) and JICA Project violating the Forest Rights Act.In a letter to the state chief secretary and forest secretary, the commission said it would investigate into the matter in pursuance of the power conferred upon it under Art 338 A of the constitution.
